During refueling outages and periods of underwater work activity at nuclear power stations, it is frequently necessary to segregate particles that are too large for normal filtration methods. To meet this need, Tri Nuclear Corp. developed the Strainer Basket Housing, Model ST-65. The strainer operates underwater on the negative pressure side of a system. This piece of equipment has the following features:
· extremely versatile
· operates in conjunction with other systems or Tri Nuclear equipment
· has a variety of insert options (e.g. strainer basket, bag filter or filter cartridge) to meet specific needs
· strainer basket is remotely removed and reusable
